Up-and-coming Meridian-Kessler attracts a hip crowd to North College Avenue for its stylish Latin American and Italian restaurants, brewpubs and quirky bars serving burgers, pizza and vegetarian food. The memorabilia-filled Red Key Tavern retains its original 1930s murals. Striking, early-20th-century mansions in a mix of architectural styles are preserved in the leafy North Meridian Street Historic District.
